NEW TERM STARTS IN SEPTEMBER

Currently, there are jazz and soul sessions running on Sundays. I’m considering starting a pop session, either on Sundays at 2pm, or a weeknight. Get in touch if you’re interested.

The first session of term will be a full day taster workshop. See below for details. Regular rehearsals will begin the following week (22nd September for Jazz and 29th for Soul)

If you can’t make the workshop day, get in touch and come along to a regular rehearsal.

FULL DAY WORKSHOPS

Our Autumn term begins with full-day one-off workshops. These are tasters for the weekly sessions, but if you just fancy a day of singing there’s no obligation to continue.

The cost for each day workshop is £20 advance, £30 on the day.

There will be a discount of £20 off the Autumn term’s subs for those at the day workshop, so the day’s effectively free for choir members.

First on Sunday 15th September, 11am-5pm there’ll be a taster session for the jazz choir. We’ll learn a variety of jazz classics, and learn how to sing and swing in a vocal ensemble. There will also be an introduction to vocal improvisation.

Then on Sunday 22nd, 12pm-6pm, Soul Singers have their turn. Sing a variety of classic and contemporary soul tunes.
